In April the four General Leadership Teams, Marist Sisters SM, Marist Brothers FMS, Marist Missionary Sisters SMSM and Marist Fathers SM, met in the Marist Brothers' Retreat Centre in Manziana, Rome.
The aim of the meeting was fourfold:
- to get to know one another,
- to share common experiences of life,
- to celebrate our common Marist Roots, Charism, History and Spirituality,
- to promote the Marian Face of the Church in the world of today.

It was a very pleasant and informative gathering where we shared friendship and common Marist events in mission and ministry. On the final morning Father John Hannon SM Superior General of the Marist Fathers, presided over an animated and participative celebration of the Eucharist. We then enjoyed a delicious final meal provided by Brother Anthony FMS Administrator of the Centre.

Our next meeting will take place in January 2011.
