May
is traditionally the month of Mary, the mother of Jesus.

The
early Marists of the 19th century saw Mary as one who "gathers
all" under the mantle of her love, reaching out to men, women,
children, rich and poor alike.

Within
the last few years
two
Italian Marist Sisters
have
ventured into a growing parish on the outskirts of Rome.

There
they have inserted themselves into the life of the local community.
They
are doing their best to gather all into God's love by supporting both
"churched" and "un-churched" alike.
