As Marist women we commit ourselves to live in community.
Community is built up each day through the effort of each Sister to create an
atmosphere of mutual trust. We share our resources and daily activities,
pray together, meet regularly to exchange ideas, to encourage and support one
another. Without having chosen one another, we accept each other in
faith so that together we can be faithful to our mission.

Sharing moments of Community together
"In communion with each other, focussed on our corporate
mission, interdependent; collaborating with all who seek to transform
society"

Our Prayer Life
Prayer is at the very heart of our Marist life, as its
life-giving, unifying principle. Through prayer we learn to 'taste God'
in both our personal and community prayer - thus endeavouring to become
contemplative women in action. Eucharist is pivotal and central to our
lives. In confidence and gratitude we praise and thank the Father,
intercede with Him for broken humanity and offer ourselves in service through,
with and in Christ. Like the early Christian believers, we pray with
Mary, seeking to make our own Her openness to God's action.
"Faith-filled,
liv
ing
a profound relationship with God, knowing His
compassion; Risking being energised by the fire of the Spirit, discerning
God's action in today's reality." (Marist Sisters Image Statement)
