A Statement of Marist Mission

Following in the footsteps of Jeanne-Marie Chavoin, 

we  live our charism of "presence", 

presence to God and to others, 

solidarity "with".

 In today’s world, 

 our Congregation must go in haste to construct a network of Peace 

 in the face of the network of violence, war and terrorism.

We must go in haste to construct a network 

of Communion, of Reconciliation and of Compassion, 

ready to give our lives for love 

as against those who give their lives for hate.

We must find concrete ways of living the three NOs of Fr. Colin: 

No to Power, 

No to Prestige, 

No to Greed.

To be, like Mary, instruments of Mercy and of Magnificat.
